Mongolfiera Molfetta, Lecce : two new shopping malls ViaDirect equipped in Italy !
ViaDirect, and its local partner PTA Group, continues to install its de bornes d’orientation in Italy by equipping the Mongolfiera shopping mall in the cities of Molfetta et Lecce.
Located about 30 km north of the city of Bari, in the Puglia region of southern Italy, in an urban area of 250,000 inhabitants, the Gran Shopping Mongolfiera in Molfetta covers 35,000 m2 of retail space. The main shopping attraction in the region since its opening in 2008, the centre attracted 5.3 million visitors to its fifty or so shops in 2016.
Further south, in the Puglia region, a few kilometres from the Adriatic coast, the Mongolfiera shopping centre in the city of Lecce has been in operation since 1994 before being expanded and refurbished in 2006. 4 million visitors come every year to shop in more than fifty shops spread over 11,300 m2.
Both shopping malls are owned by CBRE Global Investors, a $106 billion real estate investment company. CBRE acquired the two shopping malls in 2016 (Lecce) and 2018 (Molfetta) respectively.
