ViaDirect installs its multiplatform solution that includes interactive kiosks and mobile applications in the ‘RIO Leninsky’ mall in Moscow. ViaDirect has already installed its wayfinding solution in the ‘Erevan Plaza’ shopping center in Russia.
ViaDirect has landed in Russia through 3 shopping centers. This marked a significant step in Viadirect’s international development. Distributed in 15 countries around the world, ViaDirect has an office located in Taipei for its Asian development and an office located in Mexico City to deploy the solution across Central America.
THE KIOSK:
RIO Leninsky has selected 7 “Gazelles 40’’ totems. Kiosks are exclusively designed by ViaDirect and equipped with a luminous totem with the shopping mall logo and the “i” signage (information). Produced by ViaDirect, these kiosks comply with the highest standards of quality and include the latest hardware technologies:

- Latest generation multitouch technology
- VD Box: smart management of electronic equipment
- Ultra-slim and i7 3rd generation powerful media player
THE SOFTWARE:
Data comes from a back-office created by ViaDirect. The back office manages information and the map:
- Real-time 3D wayfinding maps and itineraries
- Search stores by alphabetical order or topic
- Search services stores
- Search restaurants and available menus
- Transport and car park
- Mall services
- History of RIO Leninsky
- Display of promotions
- Movies’ live information, synopsis, and next showing timetables
- QRcode that alludes to social networks
- QR codes that link to social networks
ViaDirect has developed a mobile application (Android and iOS) of the ViaDirect software deployed in the ‘RIO Leninsky’ mall. In the context of a multi-channel digital strategy, the mobile and kiosks operate in Web Services with a back office for perfect synchronization and automatic updates of data on different platforms. In this way, all available services on kiosks constitute the Russian shopping mall mobile application.
