Colombia. ViaDirect equips MallPlaza Buenavista in Barranquilla
This is the second collaboration with the group Mallplaza after the first one in Mallplaza Manizales. ViaDirect installed 2 horizontal kiosks designed exclusively for them and manufactured in our factory in Colombia. The city of Barranquilla, located on the Colombian Caribbean coast, is one of the largest and most important cities in the country. Barranquilla’s carnival takes place every year and is one of the most important cultural events in Latinamerica.
These two kiosks have ViaDirect’s interactive orientation software which implements a 3D map of the 6 levels of the mall so that visitors can orient themselves in an intuitive way and find any stores or services they need.
MallPlaza Group is one of the most important shopping center operators in Latin America with 22 years of experience. This group was born in Chile where it currently owns 11 shopping centers. Due to their experience and rapid growth, they quickly expanded to Peru and Colombia where they own 3 shopping centers in each of these countries.
The ViaDirect software for MallPlaza Buenavista includes :

- Shop and restaurant directory in alphabetical order and by category
- Information on events and promotions
- Information about the shopping center’s opening hours
- Immediate sending of itineraries via text message for cell phones
- User interface in English and Spanish
