CLEAR CHANNEL EQUIPS LYON PARKING SPACES WITH THE VIADIRECT INTERACTIVE WAYFINDING AND INFORMATION SOLUTION

On the occasion of the renewal of its contract with Lyon Parc Auto (LPA), Clear Channel has entrusted ViaDirect to provide a multi service dimension to the digitization of car parks in downtown Lyon.
ViaDirect, the leading expert in information and interactive 3D wayfinding solutions for public places in France and in many countries worldwide, deploys here its interactive application on 10 digital directories located in the city’s main car parks. After equipping a Parisian neighborhood and later the center of Nancy, ViaDirect facilitates once again the daily life of city-dwellers with this customized application for LPA.
In collaboration with Clear Channel, the kiosks’ app offers a geolocalized search of shops, restaurants, transport (bus, tramway, underground, bus, bicycles, …), tourist sites and public services in the vicinity. The application guides the pedestrians to the desired destinations in real time. Users can also receive the route directly on their Smartphones.
The application, connected to the Open Data platform of Lyon, broadcasts the latest news, information about the city of Lyon, weather conditions and the number of bicycles available at the nearest self-service stations. Finally, ViaDirect offers an PMK mode that allows people with reduced mobility an easy access to the software: the multi-touch part of the screen drops down to the height of a person in a wheelchair.
