ViaDirect equips La Vache Noire Center
Just after “Avant Cap” at Plan de Campagne, “La Vache Noire” (Arcueil, 94) is the second shopping mall of the SCC ground rent to choose ViaDirect to equip itself with multitouch wayfinding and information solution.
ViaDirect developed several features for this mall composed of 120 shops and restaurants and of a roof-garden:
- A 3D multitouch wayfinding software
- A real-time consultation of transport information
- Display of offers and news, in connection with the Web services of the mall.
- A barcode reader and an NFC reader connected to a printer for the deployment of a loyalty program
THE KIOSK:
The installation of this shopping mall is composed of 4 “Gazelle” kiosks with a 40’’ screen and an NFC reader. This model from the ViaDirect magazine uses the latest technologies, from the screen to the touch frame, in order to offer a very slim, yet robust, modern design for public places. The kiosk was adapted to receive a thermal printer for the edition of discount coupons.
THE SOFTWARE:
The kiosks are equipped with the ViaDirect software solution.
SCC noticed the ViaDirect ability to work by Web Service for the entire content (special offers, shops, pictures…), allowing a perfect synchronization between the Web, the Mobile, and the interactive kiosks while designed in an asynchronous way (locally stocked data) in order to maintain an equal service quality whatever the Internet access.
The software is able to deliver real-time information on transports and news:
- Undergrounds, trams, RER, and Bus travel times.
- Vélib’ and Autolib’ availability
- Traffic information
- Offers and news
The software also allows interfaces with the mall’s loyalty program through barcode and NFC readers.
The other standard features of ViaDirect are deployed:
- Real-time wayfinding in a 3D environment with a multi-floor view
- Multitouch map of the mall
- Search by theme and destination

- Real-time monitoring of equipment and incident management the next day (weekends and public holidays included).
