7 TOUCH KIOSKS EQUIPPED WITH INFORMATION AND WAYFINDING SOLUTION IN THE SHOPPING MALL « PLACE DES HALLES » (STRASBOURG, FRANCE)

ViaDirect equips Place des Halles center
Located in the city center of Strasbourg, the shopping mall « Place des Halles » is now equipped with ViaDirect, the information, and wayfinding solution.
This mall, operated by Hammerson, is one of the major shopping centers in Strasbourg.
The kiosk was designed by the agency Minale Design with technical support from ViaDirect, which also provided the hardware. This installation consists of seven touch kiosks.
The ViaDirect software was customized for this mall in order to offer support for the mall’s gift cards.
The other standard features of ViaDirect are also deployed:
- Wayfinding in a 3D environment with a multi-floor view
- Complete directory with search by themes and alphabetical
- Multi-touch map

- Web service connection for the gift cards data

ViaDirect will equip Hammerson’s malls in France in 2013 and 2014.
ViaDirect software…
The interactive software for Budapest Airport includes:
- Real-time display of all departing and arriving flights (with a real-time indication of possible delays)
- The passenger can enter the ticket number or scan the ticket to get all the information about the flight and the route to the boarding gate.
- Guidance and orientation with an interactive 3D multi-level map
- Airlines check-in counters
- Boarding Gates
- Index of restaurants, shops, services, parking lots
- List of ground transportation: taxis, public transportation, car rental service
- Management of routes between post and pre-security zones
- Instantaneous sending of information and orientation plan by SMS
- User interface available in English and Hungarian
